Regardless of it is amicable or not, if you were the one to end it or not, feelings come up. It’s a loss. A chapter of your life has ended. There is grief to feel there.
Yes, this too shall pass. But in these moments that thought does not give much solace. Feels like a big fat lie to be honest.
You have got to know that it’s okay to feel whatever you are feeling and that it will take however long it needs to for your heart to heal.
